Long I stood,
In the alley of my lost childhood
Where once I lain peacefully
In the melody of my sweet solitude.
Gone is the moment, Gone are the people,
My fifth summer spent in the middle of the woods.
When my Grandpa felt sated for every bite I took,
And sung me lullabies until he no more could.
When my heart was free, of pride and greed,
Danced I away, from the monster Adulthood.
Now lay here I, amidst the lies
Trapped in the youth, feeling misunderstood.
